An Exchange Meeting on Instruction with English in All Subjects

 On Oct.27 afternoon, an exchange meeting was held in Wuhan 304 International Art Center by British embassy. Teachers in charge of International Exchange and major development from national wide higher institutes got together and discussed on the topicTeachers’ Major Development under Background of International Higher Education: English Teaching and Teaching in English in All Subjects.Teachers of InternationalCooperationCenterattended the meeting.

Firstly Representatives form British Council introduced the significance of English teaching and English teaching in all subjects, as well as some successful cases. Then Dean of Foreign Language College,ChongqingUniversity, shared their experience with teaching with English in all subjects. Last British Council IELTS popularized newest product Aptis.

The meeting has broadened the horizon in teaching with English in more subjects and introduced the advanced cases for us to study and follow, which will promote international cooperation work.
